 "Pike Street Towel Set" 2009-12-13
By Mary Lorraine (USA)
I purchased two sets - one for my use and one for a gift. The towels arrived with a strong solvent odor so I washed immediately. The towels were not absorbant at all and they had pulls after two washes.

Luckily, the gift was for my son who told me he was not happy with the towels either. I would not recommend this product.

 "not so good" 2009-12-13
By Danielle L. Degraw (New York)
Towels do not dry - bought with a gift card and this looked like a good deal. The towels are soft, but do not absorb, even after a few washings. I would not recommend this product.

 "Good value" 2009-12-08
By Francis Dolarhyde (overland park, ks)
I was really surprised how much I got for the price. Still using them a year later, soft as ever.

"These are a very good buy" 2009-12-08

I love this towel set. It is very heavy cotton and nice and thick. I am going to buy more of this set. Only thing is that I wish they were bigger.

 "cold and wet" 2009-12-07
By Dan (Reading, PA)
They look like a good towel... until you start to dry off with them. The water seems to stay on the surface of the towel so as you dry off it feels cold and wet to the touch. I bought the Columbia brand towels at the same time and have been using them all the time as they seem to pull the moisture into the towel better.

All sandpaper is not created equal. As a result, we love Mirka paper. The backing is beefier than other papers, and to us, that means quality. Aluminum oxide grain is the choice of most woodworkers because it's sharp, durable and, best of all, long-lasting on the higher paper grades that won't shred on the edges. This assortment is perfect for professionals, homeowners, and hobbyists because it includes everything from stock-removing 80-grit to a nice 220 finishing grit. Yes, you can spend less on other sandpapers, but you'll end up spending more in the end. This is quality. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

"Mirka 5-Inch 8-Hole Assorted Grits Dustless Hook-and-Loop Sanding Disks" 2009-12-10
By RPK
I am new to using this type of sanding. The Porter-Cable sander, which I purchased, along with these Mirka disks has exceeded my expectations. I was used to changing paper fequently on my 1/4 sheet finishing sander... with this set-up I change disks when moving to a finer grit... and the used disks seem like new! I was cautious about the price of this type of sanding system, but it works very well. I will be purchasing more Mirka products, they are worth their cost.

 "Nice Assorted Pack" 2009-11-24
By MrG-Review (CT USA)
Perfect multi-pack for the occasional orbital sander user that needs a mix. Made by a quality Finnish manufacturer Mirka. This multipack was a lot cheaper than the Norton & other alternatives available at the local box store (which I returned). So far I used the 80, 120, and 150 and they worked quite well.

 "Great product" 2009-10-20
By Dave Jaglall (Guyana, South America)
well this works great on the sander, the only problem im encountering is that it fills quickly with particles, so the life of one is very short.

 "Great quality good durability" 2009-10-07
By G. Robinson (CO)
That pretty much says it all. The price is reasonable for this type of sand paper. The 80 grit takes off old paint and junk. The assortment is just what you need if you do a variety of jobs but no really large jobs.

 "What a Deal!!" 2009-09-29
By Terrence L. Gray (Hayward, Ca.)
I normally use Norton orbital sanding disk. I decided to give Mirka sanding disk a try. I do furniture repair and restoration as a hobby. The Mirka sanding disk are excellent! I will continue to use Mirka sanding disk in the future. Great product!!!
